Deepavalli Visiting

After back from Ipoh, We went to our neighbour Mr Perumal's house. He served us mutton curry, sambal chicken and nasi minyak. His wife even packed some for me to bring back.later we went to another house, my ex-student Rekka invited us. When we reached there, already night. Her mother apologized because no more food. Anyway we already ate at Mr Perumal's house. She gave me some cookies, dragon fruits and ang pow for my children.

Ipoh's Trip (Deepavalli Holiday)

Last Sunday we went to Ipoh. We stayed in SIL house. We started our journey at 10.00 am by using the old way. We stopped at Kampar for lunch. The foods are cheaper than KL. We had their famous Kampar yong tau foo. It took 4 hours to reached Ipoh. We had our dinner at one of the hawker centre in Ipoh garden. There are variety of foods. We had fried lalah, fried sotong, lor bak, sushi.... The food is nice. After that we went to Cold Storage. BIL wants to cook spaghetti, lasagna and lamb chop. Unfortunately their minced beef had sold out. So he changed the menu to pizza.

On Monday, it was Deepavalli day, we woke up at 6am and head to Ipoh Town for their famous dim sum. This time we did not eat at Foh San Restaurant. We tried Ming Court Dim Sum. It is smaller in size and the taste nicer too. I packed some Tai Pau for the children. After that we went to Ipoh Wet Market. BIL wants to cook rice and dishes for his ex student Rudy and family. They are from Sarawak and will dropby his house for lunch. He dicided to cook sambal udang, fried lalah and I help to cook Ponte, Pumkin and vegetable. After lunch we went back to Rawang at 2pm. We have to attend 2 Dedepavalli Open House. Thats all about our Depavalli holiday.

Class Party at my house

I had my class party on Wednesday. Students bought KFC and I prepared spaghetti, cheese cake, cheese tarts, fruits and soya bean milk. We had a good time. Another week they will sit for their SPM. After the exam everbody will go for part time job or PLKN. It will be hard to meet each other. Wish them all the best.

Last Friday our old neighbour Atuk and Nenek invited us to their Hari Raya open house. They already shifted to Desa Mas since last year. We had mee soto, rendang chicken, satay beef,tom yam...... We meet others neighbour too.

Hamster Died

We traveled to Ipoh on Sunday and came back on Monday. When we arrieved home, children quikly checked on the hamsters only to find out one of the hamster had died. The one belongs to Jian En. He felt a bit sad. We don't know what is the cause.

Poor Florence

Last Friday Jian Yong complaining stomach pain. Brought here to clinic . On Saturday and Sunday she had cerit-berit. Quite serious. I start worried because Monday will be her year end exam. Called my mum to ask for help. She plug some pucuk daun jambu batu, cincang halus and then boil with water.Ask my sister to send it all the way from Sri Gombak. Thank you mother. Amazingly after taking that herb (4 times, it's very bitter) On Monday she totally cure. unfortunately she having fever now and tomorrow will be her BI and Science exam. Already see doctor. Hopefully she will recover soon. Her exam will be until Friday.

On Diet

Recently I put on a lot. Looks so round. Hubby advised me to on diet. So I start the Amway Diet Programe again. So far manage to loose 1 kg in one week. This week a bit slow because :

Hubby, how to reduce ????????

A visit by Brother Andrew and family

Brother Andrew pay me a visit on his way back to Malacca after attended Enso Sook Seem's grandmother funeral in Ipoh. They all came in red T-shirt cause their grandmother already 104 years old. She recommand me a vegetarian restaurant at Ipoh which is nice and reasonable. Hubby, next time we try, ok ? Deepavalli holiday we will go to Ipoh, visit Chow Soba and family. We plan to use old road instead of highway. I want to look for nice food along the way. There are many small old town along the road. My friend also recommended me to eat at Tok Alang. There famous with fresh big river prawn. Anyway We don't have enough time. Maybe next trip. We will stay there for one night. I get some mozarella cheese for Chow Soba cause he loves to make pizza.

Car break down

After driving car for 12 years, first time hubby's car break down on the road. Sound so scarily but luckily hubby manage to park on the road side. He contact my brother to send somebody. The mechanic can't do anything. Finally they tow the car to the workshop at PJ cost RM250. The workshop temperory lend to him a Proton Iswara.Hopefully it won't happen again.

Making bun

After stopped for 2 years, today I start making bun again. It's a lot of work. I make ham bun, kaya bun and cheese bun. Children eat it for dinner and the rest they will bring to school tomorrow. The boys like ham bun but Florence likes kaya bun. I like cheese bun. Hubby ? don't knowlah. He sapu everything. He use to said that what ever I cook, sure nice. Betul ke?

Selling Cakes

Hubby called me just now asked whether I can make choc moist cake. His customer wants to order. Sorrylah, I not yet found a good recipe. End up he ordered 2 butter cakes. Tomorrow sure busylah. After school must bake cake. Luckly hubby bought me a big oven. Thank you darling.

Chidren's first pet - the Winter Normal Hamster

Children are demanding for a pet. They suggested to rear rabit, puppy, cat ...... finally hubby bought for them 2 pairs of hamster. Together with the food and cage, it costs hubby RM200. Frankly speaking, I sakit gigilah....

Lunch at Kg Rasa, Hulu Selangor

Last Sunday my brother belanja us lunch at Kg Rasa, Hulu Selangor. This is our first time eating there. The food is nice. He order claypot lamb, mongolia prawns, spring rolls, sweet and sour pork, vegetables, steam river fish and fresh roasted char siew.Thank you brother.The best dishes are steam fish, spring rolls and char siew. Anybody wants to try ? Do come and visit us. Enso Hong and brother Chuan, Bila mau datang ? Ajak lu makan sana.
