Bali second day 11th Dec 2008

Second day in Bali, we woke up early to have our breakfast. The driver will arrive at 9am.Our first stop is Silver factory. Mother and MIL bought 2 pairs of earring. After that we visit wood carving factory. Hubby bought 2 wood horses for display. Next we went to a Bali Traditional Village, Pengelipuran Village. We are catching time to see Mount Batur Volcano and Batur Lake. Unfortunately it was heavy rain. The mountain was cover by fog. We see nothing. We had our buffet lunch at Bumi Ayu Restaurant (Kintamani). The food not so nice but their fried banana was fantastic. We ate a lot. They even serve pulut hitam. Hubby loved the passion fruits. On our way down we stop at Tegallalang to see paddy terrace. The view is nice. Our next stop was Ubud. We visited the palace, walk around the Ubud Market to buy some souvenir. I wanted to try Ubud the most famous Bu Oka Babi Guling rice and Bebek Bengil dirty duck. We only managed to pack 3 packet of Babi Guling Rice. It was tasty. On our way back to hotel, the driver dropped us at Denpasar market. We eat at their hawker centre. We order Nasi Babi Guling, Soto Ayam and Sate Kambing with gulai for our dinner. My Sister bought 6 fried drumstick for RM6 only. At night the children playing game boy in the room and we went shopping around Kuta area.
